Physical Education
At Thomson House School we give our pupils a taste of a wide range of sports and activities, so that they may pursue at least one into later life.
Physical Education develops the student’s knowledge, skills and understanding, so that they can perform with increasing competence and confidence in a range of physical activities. Physical Education promotes an understanding in students of their bodies in action, as well as how exercise improves mental well-being. It involves thinking, selecting and applying skills and promotes positive attitudes towards a healthy lifestyle. At Thomson House, we wish to inspire an active generation and encourage children to flourish in a range of different physical activities to enhance their physical, mental, social and moral development.
