Thomson House School

Courage

Thomson House believes that courage is a fundamental quality which individuals need to flourish in life.

Our pupils build resilience by learning from mistakes; persisting at things they find difficult; and by undertaking tasks which build self-esteem.

Thomson House pupils have an utter belief in the power of effort.

To foster this, we have a culture of high expectations; we give three hours a week of physical education; we have an extensive enrichment programme of extra-curricular clubs so that children can experience new and exciting opportunities.

We offer a first class Wellbeing Programme and place a strong emphasis on public performance.

All children stand and speak in front of the class for weekend news and ‘show and tell’;

All children perform in assemblies, end of term concerts and school productions;
